Mid-Bay Rotarians had
the opportunity to hear about the Foundations World-Wide Humanitarian
Assistance |

|
 The
purpose of the Foundation is world-wide humanitarian help. The Foundation
collects and ships items such as toys, chairs, wheel chairs, clothes,
hospital supplies, etc., to places in the world (e.g., Honduras, Panama,
Thailand, etc.) and US. Their visionary thinking has them on a project to
collect old school supplies (e.g., school desks, etc.) and ship them to
the less fortunate countries. Look for the newspaper article this coming
week which addresses Christmas Wish. A plane load of "care packages" will
be on its way to Honduras as a direct result of the Air Commando's
McCoskie/Threshold Foundation. |
